Installation
Simply download and unzip the above file. Upload the folder and all its contents onto your webserver in wp-content/plugins/ Activate the plugin through the plugin menu.
Make sure that the WYSIWYG editor is disabled. WP Advanced Code Editor is not compatible with the WYSIWYG editor.

It does not work.
The WYSIWYG editor MUST be disabled for this plugin to work. Sorry.

Credit
The entire syntax code editor (called EditArea) was written entirely by Christophe Dolivet. All of the code is his and I make no claim to it. I simply integrated it with WordPress, sized down the package, and released it as a sweet plugin.
